Today I went to lunch with some old work friends at an expensive salad and sandwich place. Then on the way home from school I was listening to a spot about David Sedaris on NPR and making a mental note to read his newest book. And am typing this on my MacBook. All I can say is I am pretty white. Sad.

Heh, I discovered that blog a few weeks ago, and agree with about 75% of the things it mentions.
Lauren, can you please make it so your music player doesn't automatically start playing when one loads your blog? It interferes with music I'm already listening to, and sometimes I like to read your blog at work, but the involuntary music-playing could prevent me from being able to do so comfortably. Shoot me an e-mail if you don't know how to set your Project Playlist account to not play on default. Thanks!
Well I'm glad I could be one of your black friends. Although I just started to like NPR myself...no wonder it felt weird to me. Good thing that guy came up with "Stuff White People Like" to ease up my confusion :)
